Yuanrong graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2019 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020.

Yuanrong is part of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution department.

Her experience spans across commercial litigation, criminal defence work, employment disputes and insurance claims. On the non-contentious side, Yuanrong has handled matters involving public and private companies and assisted clients with a spectrum of corporate, commercial and advisory work.

Yuanrong’s experience includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Acting for an established valuation firm in a professional negligence suit brought by a fund management company, worth up to $1.6million in the High Court
  • Acting for a director-shareholder in a s216A leave application and succeeded in largely resisting the allegations of breaches of directors' duties against him
  • Acting for a company in its claim against ex-employees for breach of employment clauses and misuse of confidential information
  • Assisting clients in a High Court trial involving a high-value claim levied by a leading operator and developer of customer data centres against its consultant engineer for breach of contractual duties
  • Advising clients on corporate and insurance matters including policy coverage
