Samuel graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2019 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020.
Samuel is part of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution department, and has handled a variety of litigation matters including civil, criminal and matrimonial matters as well as commercial and corporate matters relating to the review and preparation of agreements.
Samuel’s experience includes but is not limited to the following:
- Acting for a company director in claiming and enforcing a summary judgment for director’s fees and remuneration owed to him by his former company, and resisting counterclaims for alleged breach of his director’s duties.
- Acting for an interior design firm in its claims against a former director and the competing interior design firm set up by that director for breach of confidence and breaches of director’s duties¬.
- Acting for a sub-contractor in claiming against a project manager firm for sums unpaid for work done in respect of a major construction project, and the appeal therefrom.
- Acting for a broker in resisting claims brought by two major brokerage firm for around US$2m, and in respect of his counterclaim for wrongful dismissal.
- Acting for the developer and main contractor of a condominium in respect of claims brought by the MCST in respect of alleged defects in design and/or construction.
- Acting for a businessman in claiming for the recovery and/or an account of profits arising from the bailee’s unlawful sale of cars stored in Singapore on his behalf.
