Shanice graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2019 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020.

Shanice is part of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution department. She has acted in a variety of corporate commercial disputes. They include insolvency & restructuring, breaches of fiduciary duties, employment and contractual disputes.

Some of the matters which Shanice has been involved in include:

  • Acting for liquidators against the former directors of a construction company in a S$6 million lawsuit involving breaches of director’s duties, unfair preferences and undervalue transactions.
  • Acting for liquidators against the former directors and employees of a real estate developer in a S$136 million lawsuit involving breaches of director’s duties, unfair preferences, undervalue transactions and accessorial liability.
  • Assisting in a Court of Appeal case involving the setting aside of an arbitral award for breach of natural justice (CBS v CBP [2021] SGCA 4).
